Terms of Service

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and The Automatic Office Corp. ("EasiBooks", "we", "us") for the use of the EasiBooks service at easibooks.com and app.easibooks.com. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use EasiBooks for a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you may do so.

The service

EasiBooks is online accounting software for small and mid-sized businesses: a double-entry ledger, invoicing and bills, banking and reconciliation, reports, tax form preparation, and an AI assistant. We may improve or change features over time. We will give notice before removing a feature you depend on.

Accounts

Free trial, fees and payment

Online payments through Stripe

A company can link its own Stripe account to let its customers pay invoices online. Those payments are processed by Stripe under the company's own agreement with Stripe. The money goes to the company's Stripe account, not to EasiBooks, and EasiBooks takes no part of it. Stripe's fees, refunds and disputes are between the company, its customer and Stripe. EasiBooks records the payments in the company's books.

Your data

Your company's data belongs to your company. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us for a full export of your data at any time. When you close an account, we keep the data for up to 90 days so it can be restored, then delete it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use EasiBooks to break the law or to commit fraud, to send spam, to upload harmful code, to try to reach data that is not yours, to interfere with the service, or to resell the service without our written agreement.

Your responsibility for your books

EasiBooks is a tool. It does not give legal, tax or accounting advice. You are responsible for the entries you make, for reviewing reports, tax forms and filings before you rely on them or submit them, and for meeting your own legal and tax obligations. Suggestions from the AI assistant must be reviewed before you act on them.

Availability

We work to keep EasiBooks available and to back up data every day, but we do not promise the service will never be interrupted. We may carry out maintenance, and we try to do it outside business hours.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time by writing to support@easibooks.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, EasiBooks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here, update the date above, and give account administrators at least 30 days' notice of important changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
